The Charlevoix Marathon has been named as one of the top running events in the US by Serious Running Magazine. The breezy, shaded trails, pathways and roads of the town of Charlevoix on Lake Michigan are the setting for the Red Rock Company’s Run Charlevoix Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, a race event that features some of Lake Michigan’s most breathtaking scenery during one of the times of the year when it offers some of its best weather conditions. From the starting line in downtown Charlevoix, the out-and-back course runs through downtown and out to the beachfront on the lake, with half of the 13.1-mile course taking place on cool, wooded bicycle trails along Highway 31. The race courses for both the full marathon and the half marathon are certified by USA Track & Field. n addition to its scenery, the Marathon is a Boston qualifying race.

It's our 1st Annual 5k Walk/Run (3.1 miles)To provide opportunities for next-generation pilots through SissyMarySue Education Fund 5011 (c) (3) initiatives.Direct support and partnership with CTC and YIMA led by retired Airforce Colonel George London and a Retired Police officer Mamie Landford Singleton from the St. Cloud, Minnesota area.We invite running clubs to help bring awareness of event to running or walking clubs.We Encourage Donation Teams ( set up a group of walkers or runners from your place of work or community ) decide on a goal of gaining donars to back your Walk/Run. We believe Black, Hispanic, Asian and Indigenous pilots of both genders would be an exceptional addition to the field of aviation!Acknowledging there is a serious shortage of pilots and other critical positions within the field of aviation, we consequently, seek to respond to that need as well!In addition to raising funds for our own organization, we'll share 40% of funds raised from entry fees (after expenses )with Columbia Training Centers in Maryland, led by retired Colonel George London (20%), and Youth Initiative Mentoring Academies led by Mamie Lanford Singleton (20%)!
