Triple-threat basketball camp series | Rideau Park School
Sports & Fitness
The Triple-threat basketball camp series is a fantastic opportunity for division 2 students (grades 4-6) at Rideau Park School in Edmonton. This camp, organized by Rideau Park Alumni Elli Friedley and Coach Jeanna Friedley, is designed to provide students with a solid foundation of basketball skills. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this camp is open to all and aims to teach shooting form, passing technique, ball handling, defensive positioning, and more. Participants can expect a mix of engaging skills and drills, as well as conditioning and scrimmage sessions.
The best part? The camp is completely free to attend, thanks to our dedicated volunteer coaches. However, a recommended donation of $50 (or any amount you can afford) is greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards supporting the Friends of Rideau Park Society, which contributes to cultural and athletic learning outcomes, as well as technology advancements in our school.
Please note that this camp is exclusively for division 2 students at Rideau Park School. Parents or designated caregivers must arrange to pick up their children promptly at 5 p.m. on session days. To secure your child's spot, please e-transfer the donation amount to rideaupark.schoolcouncil@gmail.com.
Join us at Rideau Park School on April 1, 2024, for this exciting Triple-threat basketball camp series. Let's empower our young athletes with essential basketball skills and foster a love for the game.
