YG Entertainment announced on the 26th that its music group Akdong Musician (AKMU) will hold a three-week, nine-show "2025 AKMU STANDING CONCERT" concert at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, from August 8 to 24, 2025. This marks AKMU's first solo concert in a year and two months since their 10th anniversary concert, "10VE." The concerts, which will be held every Friday through Sunday, are expected to feature a different repertoire, showcasing a diverse musical palette. To foster close interaction with the audience, the concerts will be held in a standing-room-only format, with the band providing a highly immersive live experience. YG said that as the title of the concert "악동들" suggests, AKMU hopes to create a free and joyful scene that is just like the atmosphere of a music festival. In the preview poster released on the same day, the words "AKMU's takeover begins" further aroused fans' expectations.
