Elissa Lynn was born and raised in Wichita, KS, as the tenth of eleven children to William and Shirley Sanders. A lifelong learner, she is a proud graduate of Spelman College, Georgia State University, and Richmont University, where she earned degrees in the natural sciences and professional counseling. Elissa Lynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Atlanta, GA. With a heart for service, she has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally, working to rebuild the lives of children and families in military communities. Beyond her counseling work, Elissa Lynn is an anointed and gifted psalmist, speaker, and actor. She has ministered through song alongside various recording artists and has been featured in numerous theatrical stage plays across the nation. A kingdom leader and passionate teacher, she has taught on worship and spiritual relationships at church events and conferences, inspiring audiences with her insight and grace. At her core, Elissa Lynn delights in worshiping and leading others into the presence of God. She boldly encourages others to pursue a meaningful relationship with God, rooted in grace and love. Christina O. Morton, an Atlanta native, is a passionate artist who finds joy in poetry, music, and dance. She is the self-published author of Poems About Boys and also performs as a rapper under the alias Tina Taurus. Christina is deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the stage with such amazing and talented individuals, celebrating the transformative power of art and collaboration. Suzana John is a gifted vocalist and accomplished physician originally from India, who grew up in the United Arab Emirates and now resides in Atlanta with her husband and two children. From an early age, she was immersed in a rich tapestry of cultural influences that shaped her artistic journey. Trained in the intricate nuances of Indian classical music since the age of four, Suzana's passion for music has led her to perform in numerous stage shows and contribute to various albums. Her artistry is a testament to her lifelong dedication to her craft. Alongside her musical pursuits, Suzana is a highly dedicated physician and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She seamlessly blends her medical career with her artistic passions, embodying the harmony of science and creativity in her daily life. Adrienne is ecstatic to make her debut as Yemonja in this exciting musical production! A proud Atlanta native, she has been surrounded by music her entire life, beginning with singing in church as a child. Her love for performing flourished through elementary school plays, middle school chorus, and high school marching band. Today, Adrienne continues to nurture her passion for music as a devoted member of the Hillside Music Ministry. Eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth, she is thrilled to step into the world of musical theater with this role. Adrienne is profoundly grateful to her village for their unwavering support, encouragement, and love—she wouldn’t be here without them. Mikecia Carter, a talented singer and voice actress from New Jersey, has embarked on a journey of growth and discovery in music and performance. She laid her foundation at Essex County College and the Alliance Theatre, where she cultivated her skills and passion for the arts. Currently, Mikecia is honored to be a member of the inspiring Gospel group Voices of Xenia. Their appearances on Atlanta Live have provided her with cherished opportunities to share her voice and love for music with a wider audience. Dedicated to striving for excellence, Mikecia is deeply grateful for every moment on stage and every note sung, as she continues to pursue her artistic dreams.
