His latest novel, The Foghorn Echoes won the Lambda Award for Gay Fiction, and was nominated for the BC & Yukon Book awards, and the city of Vancouver Book Award. The Clothesline Swing won the Independent Publisher Book Award, longlisted for Canada Reads, and is translated to multiple languages. His award-winning children’s books The Salma Series received the Nautilus Book Award, The Publishing Triangle Award, the Middle East Book Award, amongst dozens of other nominations and honours. Since his arrival to Canada, Ramadan has raised over $300,000 for LGBTQ+ identifying refugees ensuring safe passage to more than two dozen queer and trans refugees. Ramadan graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC, and received an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Adler University. He lives in Vancouver with his husband and two dogs. Музиканти видали сім альбомів, останній із яких, «Фата», отримав премії в номінації «Альбом року» від провідних культурних медіа країни (Hromadske, Суспільне Культура, Megogo та ін.). Попередній альбом гурту, «Досвід», було номіновано на Шевченківську премію — найвищу в Україні державну відзнаку за вагомий внесок у розвиток культури та мистецтва. У 2024 році пісня «Час» із цього альбому увійшла до десятки найпопулярніших пісень України на платформі Apple Music. Її, а також інші знакові пісні гурту, як-от «Персефона», «Пташечка», «Лети», «Сліди маленьких рук», ви зовсім скоро зможете почути на концерті у своєму місті. Тематика творчості Vivienne Mort насамперед — стан душі, екзистенційні пошуки, глибокі роздуми, почуття та переживання. За свою історію гурт багато експериментував зі звучанням: від кабаре до хору з органом у стінах готичного костелу. Проте основою музики Vivienne Mort завжди залишається виразне фортепіано й чуттєвий вокал. Тур при свічках охопив уже вісімнадцять країн, а у 2025 році Даніела Заюшкіна та її фортепіано вперше завітають до Канади! Благодійна місія туру — закупівля автівок для українського війська.
