The Kawasaki City Tama River Fireworks Festival is a historic fireworks festival that began in 1929 to commemorate the founding of Kawasaki City. Every year, the event is held in conjunction with the Tama River Fireworks Festival in Setagaya Ward on the opposite bank, with star thunder and music called "Hanabillusion" and fireworks.

The Kanagawa Tanabata Festival is a traditional cultural event held in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, usually held in early July each year to celebrate the Tanabata Festival. The Tanabata Festival originated from the Chinese legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, and is a romantic festival that symbolizes the annual reunion. During the Kanagawa Tanabata Festival, the streets are decorated with colorful bamboo and paper decorations that symbolize prayers and blessings. The event includes parades, traditional performances, food stalls, and various cultural experiences, attracting a large number of tourists and local residents to participate, creating a lively and cultural festival celebration.

The festival at Inage Shrine takes place in early August. On the final day, two portable shrines (male and female) called "Konno" and "Tama" are paraded through the city. Food stalls line the shrine grounds, adding to the festive atmosphere.
