With the guiding theme “Plain, Simple, Useful”, Sir Terence Conran (1931 – 2020) revolutionized the world of design, his comprehensive gaze capturing all aspects of life from the individual, to the urban, and even to society at large. This exhibit seeks to depict Conran as he was through his design philosophy, which played a major role in revolutionizing English lifestyles, and set off a design boom worldwide. This exhibit graced Tokyo’s Station Gallery last year, and migrated to Fukuoka this year on April 19th. In the immediate postwar period Conran began his career as a textile and tableware pattern designer, and in 1964 opened his groundbreaking home styling store “Habitat” which became a massive hit and chain in England, earning him significant fame as an entrepreneur.

The “Demon Slayer” anime, which began airing in 2019, is attracting more and more attention with the first chapter of the Infinity Castle Arc to be released on July 18 this year. A large-scale exhibition focusing on the “Hashira” class of characters recently drew 200,000 visitors in Tokyo, and this exhibit will now be coming to “Demon Slayer” Hashira Exhibition “To Infinity Castle" will be held at the Fukuoka City Museum from Thursday, April 24 to Sunday, June 22.

The Hakata Dontaku Festival is held on May 3-4 during the busiest Golden Week holiday of the year. Throughout the parade route of the festival, tens of thousands of revelers, dressed in bright traditional costumes, dance through the streets of Fukuoka. During the two days of dancing and parading, an estimated 2 million spectators cheered and cheered for the participants.

The Fukuoka Bordeaux Wine Festival is a Bordeaux wine festival that was founded in 2017 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Fukuoka City and Bordeaux, France. This popular event brings together wine lovers and tourists from all over Fukuoka Prefecture to enjoy the delicious food of Fukuoka and the charm of Bordeaux wine. There are up to 100 different types of wine to choose from, from light to full-bodied! You can taste first and second class wines from the Big Five (five famous wineries in the Bordeaux region). Choose from a variety of red, white and rosé wines to find the one that suits your taste. In addition to exquisite cuisine that pairs perfectly with the wine, there will be a wealth of activities to experience French history and culture. You will be mesmerized by live performances of opera, chanson, ballet, accordion, jazz and more.

At the Asian Market Festival, you can enjoy everything from Asian food and groceries to tourist information and Fukuoka and Kyushu delicacies in the atmosphere of an Asian market and night market. About 30 shops are stationed, offering a variety of food specialties from Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, India, and Hong Kong. You can enjoy a variety of food and popular desserts, from standard street food menus to local delicacies. We also have a limited sale of freshly baked soft Taiwanese cakes! Colorful performances are performed on the stage, including classical South Indian dance, Balinese dance, traditional Chinese face-changing art, DJ performances playing Asian music, singing and dancing. This is a six-day trip where you can experience Asia with a traveling mood.

The tour will kick off in Aichi Prefecture on May 10, covering 4 cities in Japan (Aichi, Tokyo, Hyogo, Fukuoka) and 9 Asian cities including Jakarta, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. The newly released poster features the members standing in front of vibrant red stage curtains with their hoods down, exuding dynamic energy. The nine members are positioned before a pack of wolves, their expressions radiating the "awakening" theme of the tour, symbolizing their determination to face challenges as a stronger team. Since May 2024, &TEAM has released four seasonal-themed works.
