About the speaker: Carla P. Freeman, PhD is Director of the Foreign Policy Institute and Senior Lecturer for International Affairs at Johns Hopkins School Advanced International Studies (JHU SAIS). She began her career as a political risk analyst, later holding several academic and non-profit positions, including interim American co-director of the Hopkins-Nanjing Center in Nanjing, China. She has also served as Senior Expert for China at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), and the Library of Congress Chair for China. Lithogen Inc. presents GPR Principles and Practice, a course developed by Sensors and Software. This two day short course will teach attendees the fundamentals of GPR theory (applicable to all GPR instruments), and provide hands-on time with a variety of GPRs using Lithogen's fleet of GPRs. The course is designed for individuals who are technically competent in fields such as: geosciences, soil sciences, civil engineering, or archeology. A certificate will be provided after the course so that professionals can apply this towards continuing professional development hours.
