Featured Events in Chongqing in March 2025 (July Updated)

Directed by Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue, with Zhang Yimou as the artistic consultant, “Impression Wulong” is an amazing performance featuring more than 100 actors. Using the disappearing traditional Plains & Rivers musical form for the majority of the show, the 70-minute long performance gives audiences the chance to experience Chongqing's beautiful natural landscape and unique customs. The theater in which “Impression Wulong” is performed is the Taoyuan Grand Canyon, about 9 kilometers from Xianüshan Town.

The 2024 Chongqing Winter Quality Tourism Resources Promotion Event and the 26th Jinfoshan Ice and Snow Season were held at Jinfoshan, Nanchuan. From December, all districts and counties in the city will bring a total of more than 150 winter cultural and tourism themed activities, more than 120 people-friendly measures, and more than 80 winter tourism routes, so that citizens and tourists can enjoy the fun of winter tourism while celebrating the traditional New Year's Day and Spring Festival
