Games We will be having the customary convention games with a midlands twist, bringing a bit more bog in the games; such as 3 sod (of turf) juggling, Toss the sod, Limbo na Móna, as well as the more traditional games like 3 club gladiatiors, diabolo toss, 5 ball endurance and many more. Thanks to the City of Mandurah, Freestyle Now will be hosting a FREE Jump track jam session at the Coondanup jump/pump track for BMX/MTB participants. Participants will be able to learn new tricks, get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. The coaching jam sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun, informative and motivational. The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. Throughout the skatepark jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities in BMX/MTB participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick, longest manual, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark, most engaged rider, best youngest rider, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. All equipment is checked prior to the participant’s involvement to make sure that it is in a safe condition and minor repairs or adjustments can be made if necessary. We do, however, reserve the right to not permit a participant to attend the workshop if we feel that their equipment does not meet safety requirements. Come join us on the of 31st May to celebrate the Unbound race that's being held the same weekend in the States by riding the Shimano Rebound 2025. After last year's successful ride out, we've partnered up with Shimano UK yet again to bring Rebound right to your doorstep! We'll have reps from major bike brands which we'll be announcing over the next two weeks. They'll be showcasing some of their new as well as already on the market gravel friendly products! As this is a self-supported ride, please read the rider rules on our main page. We've put together four suggested routes, choose from a 57km, 120km, a combined 177km or the new long 2025 route to test your gravel skills and strength. You can simply choose to make your own route to ride! Free food provided to any early bird ticket holders. Make sure you arrive back at OE Bikes between 2 and 6pm to get your food. Our mechanics will be on hand to check your bike over for any last minute tweaks. We encourage you to get your bikes in for big services before the event so that you have a smooth ride.
