Smiles for Jake
. After the loss of 16-year-old Jake Haapajoki, Smiles for Jake started in 2018 as a suicide prevention movement that spreads positivity through life-affirming actions, listening ears, and the message that everyone should have hope.
The organization educates, provides resources and response efforts through various community events and partnerships. These efforts aim to spread joy and create a positive ripple effect. Every smile we share has the potential to uplift and support those who need it most.
During the game you will be able to bid on the jersey's that the players are wearing during the game. The jersey's will be signed by the player wearing it and there will also be a jersey signed by everyone on the team. All proceeds will go to Smiles for Jake.
*Please note that you will need to pick up your physical tickets the night of the game at the Thrivent tent outside the main gate at Newman Outdoor Field. It may say 'Will Call' on this site but you WILL NOT pick them up at will call. Come to the Thrivent tent.
This event helps Thrivent demonstrate our fraternal purpose to help more people experience financial clarity and amplify the generosity expressions of our clients.
