DWELL: Art Exhibition, featuring the works of ten female and non-binary identifying artists from New England, will be held at Mystic Open Studio in Arlington. The exhibition will run from May 12 to May 27, 2024, with an opening reception on Saturday, May 11 from 1-4pm, which is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, Sundays from 10am to 4pm, and on Memorial Day from 1-4pm. Various events will be hosted during the exhibition, including a Community Watercolor Paint Making session on Sunday, May 12 from 1:30-3:30pm, and an Open Mic event on Sunday, May 19 from 2-3:30pm. The theme of the exhibition, "Dwell," explores the impact of our living spaces on our lives and the concept of dwelling in various aspects. The artwork on display includes paintings, collages, sculptures, textiles, and drawings, all reflecting the theme of dwelling in possibility. The exhibition is part of the Taking. Up. Space. (T.U.S.) Initiative, empowering female artists to exhibit their work globally.
