The Lake Geneva Tourism Authority and the City of Lake Geneva are pleased to announce that the annual Lake Geneva Winter Festival will be held from January 28 to February 1, 2026. The Lake Geneva Winter Festival is the venue for the U.S. Snow Sculpture Invitational, and snow sculpting champions from across the country are welcome to participate in this grand competition of skill and art. 15 sculpting teams began their work on Wednesday, January 28, at the beautiful Riviera Square and Flatiron Park on the shores of Lake Geneva, and completed it on Saturday, January 31. Admission to the Lake Geneva Winter Festival is free, and the sculptures will be on display until Sunday (or until they melt). You can also enjoy many other winter fun activities at the Lake Geneva Winter Festival, including an ice sculpture walk in the city center, a beach bonfire, live entertainment, and more!

Each day at the camp starts at 10 a.m. and concludes around 4 p.m., with the possibility of riding until dark if the fun continues. The schedule is flexible, considering weather conditions and rider abilities. On Friday, you'll meet at Valmont Bike Park to work on core skills and indulge in a group bonding dinner in town. Saturday focuses on refining core skills and exploring technical trails, while Sunday offers a fun trail ride to put your new skills into practice. Under Lee McCormack's expert guidance, you will learn the Grand Unified Theory of Shred, an elegant approach to riding that amplifies your overall performance and enjoyment. The camp covers essential skills such as riding positions, braking, cornering, climbing, pumping, dropping, jumping, reading trails, and achieving FLOW. Get ready to take your mountain biking skills to the next level at the BMA Skills Clinic - Climbing & Descending in Boulder. This clinic is perfect for experienced riders who are comfortable on singletrack trails and want to improve their ability to navigate challenging natural trail features like rocks, roots, and logs. Led by knowledgeable instructors, this intermediate class will start by reviewing foundational skills before applying them to conquering rock features throughout Valmont Bike Park. Participants will learn how to navigate roots, logs, and rocks in both directions, perform wheel lifts to clear obstacles, and master climbing and descending techniques. You'll even have the opportunity to roll down large drops and land air-off drops with confidence. The clinic will be held on September 21, 2023, at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder. Please arrive at 5:15 pm for a 5:30 pm start time. The cost of the clinic is $70 for BMA members and $110 for non-members. We strive to make our clinics accessible to everyone, so if you're not already a member, you can sign up for just $39 per year to take advantage of the discounted rate. To participate, all riders must wear a helmet and are encouraged to bring gloves and additional padding.
