Scranton Social Sports (S3) is excited to announce their upcoming Dodgeball League, set to begin on September 20th. This thrilling league will run for eight weeks, taking place on Wednesday nights. Whether you gather your friends and form a team or join as a Free Agent, this league offers a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and have a blast. The focus is on providing a fun and active environment for all participants to enjoy, while also encouraging socializing after the games. Participants must be 18 years or older to play, and 21 years or older to be served alcohol. The league fee is $55 per person, guaranteeing seven weeks of play with the eighth week reserved for the Playoff Finals. Each team consists of eight players, with a minimum of three female players starting each game. With a maximum of 12 teams, it's important to secure your spot now. Games will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, with each team playing for 20 minutes twice each week. Food and drinks will be available at The Bistro Bar & Restaurant, ensuring a satisfying experience for all. Additionally, each person who signs up will receive a free ticket to the Scranton Comedy Club Show on September 23rd, held at The Holiday Inn. Team captains should fill out the team name and captain's name, while free agents can sign up individually. The S3 Scranton Social Sports Laser Tag League will kick off on October 10th and run for a duration of 8 weeks, taking place every Tuesday night. This exciting league offers the perfect opportunity to gather your friends and form a team or sign up as a Free Agent to meet new people. The primary aim of this league is to create a fun and active environment for participants to enjoy, with plenty of socializing opportunities afterwards. It is important to respect the Refs' calls and, most importantly, have fun! Participants must be 18 years or older to play, with the option to be served alcohol only for those who are 21 years or older. The league fee is $35 per person, guaranteeing 7 weeks of play, followed by the Playoff Finals in the 8th week. Each team consists of 6 players, with a requirement of 2 female players starting each game. There is a maximum of 24 teams allowed, so be sure to secure your spot early. The first games will begin promptly at 6:30PM, and each team will play for 15 minutes twice each week. A weekly fee of $10 is required to cover the cost of the 2 games played. Food and drinks are available at the Snack bar and Poor Richards Pub. Additionally, each participant must purchase a one-time membership card to track their stats, unless they already have a membership with Idle Hours. If you wish to join as a team, provide your team's name and captain's name. For Free Agents, simply sign up as a Free Agent. And if joining as an entire team, fill out each player's name and indicate their sex.
