This 5-week class, Adult Session 5 (Sterling): All-Level Handbuilding, is perfect for students of all levels who are interested in enhancing their hand-building techniques. It will be held at the new Studio Arts Boulder Membership space located at 3063 Sterling Circle, Boulder, CO. The Sterling Circle studio features a dedicated classroom exclusively for the handbuilding class. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of hand-building tools, create both functional and sculptural pieces, and explore various decoration practices. It is important to note that each class session will last for 3.5 hours, including 1 hour of dedicated work time at the end. Please be aware that access to the studio will only be provided during the scheduled class time and all work must be completed within that timeframe. The Pottery Lab will not be accessible for this class. Rest assured that all pieces created during the class will be properly fired in our electric kilns to Cone 6 Oxidation. This specific session is available for individuals aged 16 and above. The class will be conducted once a week on Tuesdays for a total of 5 weeks.
