Tickets are only $7.00 in advance at $10.00 at the door. and are non refundable. There are only 240 tickets available. Tickets available online and at the door until sold out.
The taproom and event room open at 11:30am for eating, drinking, socializing and merriment. Come dressed to impress!
Time... Wristbands are on a first come first serve basis starting at 11:30am. There will be a total of four (4) runs of 60 guests at a time in the yard.
Objective....60 people at a time will hunt for eggs containing candy, toys, beer tickets, gift cards, Knick- knacks and more!
There will be one golden egg for each group of runners for a grand prize Makers Easter Basket. There is also one grand prize Maker's Easter Basket available for the person who collects the most eggs out of all 4 runs. Additionally we will have an additional prize for the best costume. That's 6 grand prizes!!!
( Just in case you are wondering, an egg counting station will be set up in the "Event Room". Bring your basket of eggs to the counting station and you will receive an official "I have been counted" sticker with the total number of eggs in your basket. You must have an official count to be eligible for the grand prize. Remember this is Easter...no consolidation of eggs between friends and family. )
What time. The day is broken into parts, come for the day or pick and choose when you wish to participate in. The day is yours so just come with a smile and Hippy-Hoppy Heart. There will always be something to do during the day.
11:30am wrist bands are given out. You must have a verified ticket to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. There will be a line so wear comfy shoes. Each group of 60 will have a different color wrist band. The color will be announced prior to each run, so pay attention! You only get one shot.
Each run takes about six minutes so this will be a fast paced lope through our front yard beer garden! We do need time between runs to re-egg the yard, hahahah...you know what we mean!
12:pm Easter Egg Hunt begins.
The Easter Parade of costumes and bonnets begins and ends between 1:00 and 1:30, between the 2nd and 3rd runs.
3:00 pm Music Begins with Dry Land Folk & Americana.
Food Trucks all day long! Ice cold beer all day long.
Other special treats.. but these are still in planning. You'll just have to wait and be surprised....that's part of the fun!

The purpose of this event is to present the Yvonne C. Dubose scholarship to a student on the south side who will attend Hampton or is currently at Hampton. This award recognizes students who have or will make an impact in the future utilizing their education received from Hampton University.

A Model Citizen Soiree
We're back for a one night private event in the heart of Norfolk's Freemason neighborhood!
Some generous benefactors have opened their beautiful space to us to host you for the Model Citizen drinks you know, the vibes you love, and an evening of fun and shenanigans not soon to be forgotten.
Drinks will be served in gorgeous mouth-blown glassware from our friends at Glasvin, and we'll have a special announcement on the night: no additional charge for the scoop.
Food will be served by Chris Corrie of the late Chartreuse Bistro, as well as our kick-ass New Year's dinner, so if you missed the bites there, here's a second chance at having his amazing food paired with our drinks!
Exact location will be shared after ticket purchase, which gets you access to all of the evening's offerings. All revenue from the evening will go directly to the Model Citizen team - our hosts are not taking a cut.
