In 2022, Kalea was selected to perform for the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as a "New Faces of Comedy". Recently, Kalea performed and recorded her set for COMEDY CENTRAL STAND-UP FEATURING. She also performed for the Netflix is a Joke: Are You Still Listening showcase for Sirius XM.  She's performed in legendary clubs such as The Comedy Union, The Comedy Store, and is often traveling the US as a headliner. Also, she's performed in festivals like Big Pine Comedy Festival, Laugh After Dark, Just For Laughs and Sac Town Comedy Get Down Festival.  As an actor, Kalea is most known for her recurring character "Hanifa" on CW’s CRAZY EX GIRFRIEND (season 4), and various television Guest Staring on series like S.W.A.T., CRIMINAL MINDS, BASKETS, ANIMAL KINGDOM and LAFFMOB'S LAFFTRACKS. Her latest comedy special "SMA'AM" is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, and is also available as an album on multiple streaming platforms. Come relax, rest, and reset while experiencing the meditative sounds with angelic singing by Adrienne Sumpter, crystal bowls, and more. Bring your own yoga mats, pillows, blankets,water bottle, etc, to lie down, or you can sit in the pews. Whatever is most comfortable for you is allowed! This monthly event for UUSM will be held in the sanctuary on Saturday, Sept 20th from 4-5 pm (moving forward on the third Saturday of every month). You’re welcome to come a few minutes early to get situated in your comfy place. Water and tea are available afterwards in the kitchen, if needed. PLEASE READ: We are going to open this up to the public. If you want to invite others, there will always be an attached EventBrite link below for everyone to RSVP with. Donations per session are not required but highly suggested, since professional sound baths outside of UUSM can run $30 per session or more, depending on the event. You can pay on EventBrite ahead of time or with cash or Venmo the day of. Money raised from these monthly sound bath sessions will go to help fund our Youth RE program. Sign up today HERE!
