Think dimly lit jazz club with great music. Unlike a gig, talking is allowed—indeed, the club serves as a social hub for amateur jazz musicians, jazz fans and, indeed, anyone who appreciates live music. The music consists of several small sets with different configurations of musicians, meaning that there's always variety throughout the night. Playing is prearranged—this is not an open jam! Some things we try to have at every event: Welcoming, informal atmosphere for non-musicians and musicians alike. Variety of small sets with different configurations of musicians and instruments. This makes the evening more varied and gives more people a chance to play. Singer. We love singers and try to have one singing set every night! Family Events
This is part of a series of pre-school sessions offered in Cambourne over the warmer months. They can be enjoyed as a programme, or individually as stand-alone sessions. Join Wildlife Adventurer Becca Badger for an adventurous stroll around Cambourne Nature Reserve. We'll stop for a story and do some simple outdoor activities for toddlers along the way. These are sociable, fun, relaxed sessions, where we might jump in puddles, climb trees, or make a den. These small-group, pre-school session, work best for families with children from 2 to 4 years old, although we are flexible. In order to keep group sizes small, each adult may only bring 2 toddlers (younger siblings are welcome) Additional information Please refer to our event terms and conditions webpage for details on refunds and cancellations, as well as general information about how we run our events The benefits of joining the Wildlife Trust BCN include a reduced rate for events. Family membership is from £5 a month. This is a family event so children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The activities are designed for everyone to enjoy. There are no toilet facilities available for this session. The closest public toilets are at Morrison’s nearby. Adults and siblings under 18 months who are accompanying a paid-for child are free We aim to make our sessions as accessible as possible and are happy to make reasonable adjustments to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy them. Please contact us to discuss your accessibility needs. You will need long sleeves and long trousers to avoid bites, stings and scratches, and sensible shoes you don’t mind getting muddy. Be prepared for mud and weather! Paths around Cambourne Nature Reserve are mostly flat and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. We may stray slightly from the path into more muddy and uneven areas. The meeting point is Cambourne Nature Reserve car park, off School Lane, between Fenbridge and Quidditch Lane. This is a public carpark, it is not usually busy but spaces cannot be guaranteed. Alternative carpark is at Morrisons nearby Image: by Rebecca Neal Information Source: Rebecca Neal - Wildlife Trust BCN | eventbrite
