Sign up now for the 16th annual Cupid's Chase 5K in Cookeville, Tennessee! Hosted by Community Options, Inc., this inclusive event invites runners, walkers, rollers, and sponsors to join together and make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. By registering early, you'll secure a special early bird discount and guarantee yourself a Cupid's Chase shirt. Plus, all participants will have the opportunity to fundraise and help us make an even greater impact. The race day kicks off with check-in at 8:00 am, followed by the race at 10:00 am. This fully accessible event welcomes everyone, including pets on leashes. The race is certified and features chipped timing, with immediate results posted after the race. To ensure you receive a Cupid's Chase shirt, be sure to register by January 1, 2024. Race shirts will be available while supplies last after that date. As you cross the finish line, you'll be rewarded with an official Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a commemorative drawstring bag. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall finishers for both males and females, and age group medals will be given to the first place finisher in each category. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event offers a memorable experience for all. Remember, this event is rain or shine, so dress accordingly. This course is designed for non-medical persons such as daycare, private sitters or anyone needing training for their job. Cost of the course is $70.00 which includes a book and upon course completion the participant will receive a 2 year certification from the American Heart Association. There is a limit of 9 students per class. We will can add students based on instructor availability and demand. The CRMC Foundation training room is at 127 N Oak Ave, Suite C.
