Marc Roberge and Mikel Paris of O.A.R. will return to our annual summer concert series! As frontman for multi-platinum-selling alt-rock band O.A.R., Marc Roberge has performed for sold-out crowds at many of the world’s most iconic venues and helped to build a singularly devoted fanbase that spans the entire globe. In a departure from the unbridled energy of O.A.R.’s live show, Roberge’s solo tours find him taking the stage at more intimate theaters and delivering stripped-back renditions of O.A.R. fan favorites, along with a carefully curated selection of covers. Also rooted in his off-the-cuff and warmly candid conversations with the audience, the result is a prime showcase for Roberge’s deeply personal yet immediately resonant storytelling—an element he’s continually brought to O.A.R.’s music since the Maryland-bred band’s formation in 1996. Approximate Festival Schedule 3:30 pm -- Doors open 3:45pm--Derek Henry 5:15 pm -- Van Gordon 6:45pm-- Mikel Paris 7:30 pm -- Marc Roberge of O.A.R. No guests under 18 years of age, weapons, outside beverages, or pets (except service animals) will be permitted. Please do bring a valid, physical photo ID. At registration, please have the photo ID and your tickets out clearly showing the barcode. Please wear appropriate and comfortable walking shoes and pack sunscreen. We will have a bag check inspection upon arrival and detail below the rules for the show. What can I pack for the festival? While guests can bring outside food, guests cannot bring in outside beverages (including water & soda). You may pack lawn chairs or blankets if you would like to sit in the Vineyard area. Umbrellas (except those attached to chairs - we encourage those), canopies (except the low sun canopies), or anything similar that obstructs views will not permitted so as to maximize the view for attendees. We will have our handcrafted wines & beers, along with seltzers, craft cocktails, wine slushies, soda and water to enjoy! Rolling Grill's Food Truck will be on site with an assortment of your favorite food! There is no reentry to the festival grounds except for medical reasons escorted by security or in the case of a weather delay. There also will be no tailgating permitted. We ask guests to carpool or use Rideshare with at least 3 people per vehicle . Uber/Lyft drop offs will be at registration tent. Pick ups will be in the paved/handicapped parking lot at the entrance to the farm. All other guests will park at the lower pond area. The Brewery & Winery Tasting Room will be open until 3 pm. That said, both will close and be cleared until gates open at 3:30 pm for ticket holders. Guests cannot arrive earlier than 3:30 to reserve seats. We look forward to hosting you and providing a great experience. We are thrilled to welcome Marc Roberge back to the Vineyard! Tickets are Non-Refundable! As a gardener and nature lover, Brian believes that a minute spent outside is worth ten spent indoors. On spring days, he enjoys observing wildlife, especially the annual return of the warblers, a thrilling moment best experienced after their arrival but before the trees fully leaf out. However, the majority of Brian’s wildlife-watching time is devoted to insects. Their season is long — virtually endless — and because their habitats are small and abundant, there are countless places to find them. Not only are insects visually captivating, but they are also fascinating to observe as they go about their routines. On his personal “backyard safaris” across his quarter-acre property, Brian has photographed and identified 952 species so far and counting. In this presentation, he will share some of his favorite images and stories, hoping to spark the same appreciation for these remarkable little creatures in others. Celebrate spring by getting outside and learning how to forage! In this workshop you will learn how to identify different wild edible and medicinal plants that grow in the spring. We will learn about spring ephemerals which are plants that only come for a short time and then they go back into the ground for the rest of the year! Trout lilies, violets, garlic mustard, dead head nettle, dandelions, plantain, field garlic, honeysuckle, nettles, and other plants will be identified. Some plants will have a life cycle for the whole growing season and we will talk about how they will grow and their uses. We will look for mushrooms and identify them as well. Dryad's saddle and morels will be out this time of year. Learn what mother earth has to offer for food, medicine, and more... Class will begin with opening Qi gong exercises to help us get grounded and connected to the earth! We will also have bags and gloves available to pickup any trash that we may find in the park. This is a collaborative workshop with Amy of the CT Foraging club. Cost is $25 per person. Please email shroomsofct@gmail.com with your name to sign up. Thank you. We look forward to walking in the woods with you. Information Source: Erik Harris | eventbrite
