What is a Wonder Walk?
A Wonder Walk is a 2.5-hour guided ‘wander’ through nature. You’ll be offered a series of short ‘invitations’ or activities, designed to help you slow down and tune-in to the world around you.
Using a blend of shinrin-yoku (Japanese forest bathing) mindfulness, neuroscience, imagination, and appreciative inquiry, you will:
Reconnect with your innate curiosity and sense of play.
Remember what it feels like to be genuinely fascinated by the world around you; to approach life with fresh eyes and an open heart.
Discover new perspectives on life's challenges.
Through gentle appreciative inquiry and reflective activities, find fresh insights, ideas and solutions to questions you’re grappling with.
Soothe your overwhelmed nervous system.
Tap in to the restorative power of nature as your mind and body naturally sync with the slower, deeper rhythms of the forest.
Leave feeling renewed and centred.
Walk away with a profound sense of calm, connection, and contentment that stays with you long after you've returned home.
Every walk is co-created by, and tailored to, you
Each Wonder Walk is a unique blend of the location, the season, the weather, and the insights and desires of you and your fellow participants... plus, the inexplicable wisdom of the natural world.
You may be surprised by the insights and experiences you come away with – and you’ll get what you came for – whether you knew you needed it at the start or not.
