Jul 26, 2025 (UTC+1)
Bournemouth
Cultural Experiences
Registration Saturday: 08:45 Saturday: 09:00-18:00 Sunday: 09:00-13:00 This course is accredited for 12 CPD Hours by the European Academy of Chiropractic. We want to reduce our impact on the environment by limiting the amount of paper we are using for our CPD courses. Course notes: Not provided in hard copy. You will be notified by email to access the notes (download and save / print as you wish) approx 1 week before the seminar Presented by Corey Cambell Course Description Shoulder disorders tend to be one of the most clinically frustrating cases a DC sees. Why? The shoulder inherently lacks bony stability, so relies on the muscle, ligament, and connective tissue for its stability and function, making it difficult to treat. The Shoulder Masters Series class looks at the shoulder girdle and its relationship to the spine and upper quadrant. The goal of this course is to give the clinician an integrated understanding of the shoulder girdle and how to functionally assess and treat conditions of this complex area in a way that is easy to employ Monday morning in your clinic. Topics that will be covered in this course include: Biomechanics of the shoulder girdle. Functional assessment (movement screens) of the shoulder girdle. Clinically useful orthopedic tests for the shoulder girdle. Imaging options for the shoulder and cervical spine. Palpation of the shoulder girdle and cervical spine. Adjustment techniques for the shoulder girdle and cervical spine. Functional rehabilitation of the shoulder. Clinical conditions that will be covered will include: Cervicobrachial presentations. Labral injuries. Sports injuries. Impingement syndromes. Adhesive capsulitis. Rotator Cuff Conditions. The Shoulder Masters Series class is aimed at improving and adding to the clinician’s assessment and treatment tools while not losing site of the foundation of our profession, the adjustment. This class is intended to help you treat previously difficult conditions, as well as give you another avenue for building your dream practice. Speaker Corey Campbell, DC is the vice president of the Motion Palpation Institute and has been an instructor since 2003 and a member of the board since 2004. He has designed and taught courses in palpation and adjusting, dynamic assessment and rehabilitation, running and throwing injuries, gait, shoulder dysfunction and TMD treatment. Dr. Campbell completed the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Diplomate in 2005 and is a credentialed instructor for the Rehabilitation Diplomate. His training has taken him all over the U.S. and the Czech Republic where he trained with some of the best manual therapists and doctors in the world. Dr. Campbell is a member of the MPI Board and has taught all to doctors and students all over the US, Canada, Europe, and South America. Dr. Campbell started a partner practice in Lincoln, NE and moved onto the Nebraska Spine Center in 2006 as the only DC in a large scale multi-disciplinary practice, working alongside orthopedic spine surgeons, physiatrists, and physical therapists. He currently practices in Omaha after starting Omaha Spine & Sport in 2012. He hopes that his love for teaching and patient care inspires and motivates students and doctors alike to seek a clinically integrated approach to chiropractic care.
