Join our next F*Choir Open Session with Bianca Stephens & Jenny Moore, exploring embodied sound and building collective vocal power.
This open session will be co-led by Jenny Moore (Artistic Director) and Bianca Stephens (Assistant Choir Leader). We want to create space to warm up our voices, take them on a vocal and physical journey, play and explore.
We will learn a tune 'Come 4 Me' originally by ABRA - one of the first songs Bianca and Jenny arranged together. This song to them is about the armour that goes on when you step outside the house and you're met with the violence of the world, it’s about being embodied and standing your ground. Then we’ll move into some music by Meredith Monk called 'Panda Chant' - returning to one of the first songs we tried as a choir, full stomps and wild, guttural sounds.
This session shifts slightly away from our usual 'come and sing some F*Choir classics' vibe, focusing instead on exploring our collective voices and fuelling our community with protest songs, drum patterns, and melodies to carry out onto the streets.
Collective singing from 7-9pm with a tea break.
Doors open at 6:45pm to get settled.
Who’s it for?
It’s for you. Whoever the you of that you is, it’s for you. It's for trans, queer, black and brown, disabled and all marginalised identities. Come as you are, bring what parts of yourself you are willing to, and be open to hearing the noise you make in a chorus of voices. No experience is necessary, no terrifying 'please sing on your own now' moments or auditions of any kind. There is no end goal, no perfect summoning of what we will achieve, our voices will lead us and we will get to where we need to be together.
We prioritise places for Black and brown folks in these sessions and when new spots become available in the core choir. Email

Who is F*Choir?
F*Choir
is a queer-led, all genders community choir. We use communal singing as a restorative, liberatory practice - keeping us connected to ourselves, to one another, and warm to revolution. Rooted in interdependence and solidarity, we build community, nurture our minds, bodies and souls, and claim the right to our voices as historically marginalised and excluded people. We sing urgent songs from pop, R&B, punk, experimental art, and liberation music traditions by boundary-pushing queer, women, trans and non-binary musicians - to grow in skill, imagination, and artistic power.
“F*Choir is medicinal” (open session participant)
“Love, connection and rare revolutionary vibes!” (open session participant)
"what the f*** just happened?" (feedback from F*Choir gig)
"F*Choir brings us all out of isolation" (F*Choir member)
What does it cost?
F*Choir runs on a notched fee system, meaning you can pay what you can based on current life circumstances.
£20 Solidarity
£15 Regular
£10 Concession
A Handful of Unwaged £5 tickets + some free bursary spots for anyone who needs them (email us for promo codes)
Can I support the larger F*Choir practice?
If you want to invest in our growth and sustainability, contribute to the community pot that allows us to offer bursaries, or just send us some love because you’re feeling abundant this month, please make a donation. Every pound is transformative to this kind of practice. Staying community-funded allows us to stay radical, political and experimentally responsive to what’s going on in our community and world.
