Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporate, Gamma Psi Omega Chapter is hosting their 2nd annual Adults at Play Game Night Fundraiser! Join the Gamma Psi Omega chapter for an evening of causal fun and games where members of the D9 and surrounding community can come together and enjoy good food and drinks, and socialize while raising funds for community scholarships and programs. Helping others is a vital skill that we all should cultivate and practice regularly. Acts of kindness not only allow us to express our compassion but also create connections in our shared struggle against cancer. Envisioning BGT is dedicated to raising awareness, providing vital support, and advocating for those affected by this disease. In addition to raising awareness, we must educate and empower individuals affected by cancer. Providing knowledge about alternative care options, healthy eating, and self-care strengthens their fight. National Cancer Survivors Month, observed every June 1, honors individuals from diverse backgrounds who have bravely faced cancer. This year, we particularly celebrate families overcoming this challenge. To support those affected, I organize events that assist victims and survivors. These gatherings raise awareness and offer financial resources, proving that even small donations can have a significant impact. This year, I’m proud to honor Andre Williams from Andre Williams & Ecstasy at my event, along with a heartfelt tribute to the late Promoter Joseph Ali, whose legacy lives on through the Joe Ali Children's Center, dedicated to fostering creativity in the arts community. Donations at the event will help fund the dream to continue to uplift future generations. Together, we can combat this disease and provide hope and support to those in need. This year, I am honored to recognize cancer victim and talented singing artist, Andre Williams from Andre Williams & Ecstasy, Additionally, I will pay heartfelt homage to the late Promoter Joseph Ali, a true unsung hero. Joe dedicated his life to uniting music lovers globally. His passion inspired countless others to persevere, fostering hope while promoting events. His legacy persists through the dreams to the Joe Ali Children's Center, which aims to nurture creativity within the arts community.
