Knox presents...Sean McCann, The Great Big Canadian Road Trip. | Knox United Church
Jun 7, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Parksville
Séan McCann is setting out on a journey—not just across Canada, but into the heart of what it means to be human. In a time when the world feels fractured, uncertain, and heavy, this tour is about something bigger than music. It’s about connection. It’s about light. It’s about showing up for each other, one song at a time. This is not a tour of stadiums or grand stages. It’s a tour of small towns, real conversations, and the spaces where people need music the most. It’s for the folks who might not get a concert in their backyard, the ones craving something real—a voice in the room, a hand to shake, a chorus to sing along with. Because in the end, that’s what we are: a choir, not a solo. Séan will drive alone, but he won’t be alone. His guitar, his stories, and his music will be the bridge between strangers, a reminder that no matter how hard the road gets, we are never truly walking it alone. So, town by town, mile by mile, song by song—this is The Great BIG Canadian ROAD TRIP . A journey not just of distance, but of belonging. Let’s turn the lights back on. Let’s raise our voices together. Let’s remind ourselves why we sing.

Limo Wreck - Tribute to Chris Cornell / Soundgarden - Nanaimo June 14 | The Queen's
Jun 14, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Nanaimo A
When five of the most easygoing, seasoned musicians in BC came together, they had one simple goal: to celebrate the music of one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Enter Limo Wreck (formerly known as Loud Love) — a powerhouse tribute to Soundgarden and the unmistakable legacy of Chris Cornell. From the thunderous grooves to the mind-bending guitar work, from the intricate time signatures to the soaring, soul-stirring vocals, Limo Wreck doesn’t just play Soundgarden’s music—they embody it. This isn’t just a tribute; it’s a reverent and electrifying experience, delivering the raw intensity, haunting melodies, and undeniable power that made Soundgarden a defining force in rock history.
The lineup is stacked with talent:
Steve Plantz (Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar) – With an uncanny ability to channel Chris Cornell’s raw emotion and staggering vocal range, Steve commands the stage with every note.
Murray Atkinson (Guitar) – A current member of The Odds and virtuoso guitarist whose searing solos and sonic textures capture Kim Thayil’s magic note for note.
Devon Hart (Guitar) – A dynamic player who brings the grit and depth that defined Soundgarden’s iconic dual-guitar attack.
Grant Baird (Drums) – The rhythmic powerhouse who drives the band with precision, passion, and the perfect dose of chaos.
Ryan Steele (Bass) – Laying down the deep, brooding grooves that anchor the band’s massive sound.
With their combined experience spanning decades, Limo Wreck is more than just a group of musicians—it’s a brotherhood built on a shared love for one of rock’s most legendary bands. Whether delivering the dark, hypnotic energy of Fell on Black Days, the relentless force of Rusty Cage, or the soaring intensity of Black Hole Sun, they bring every note to life with authenticity and heart. For fans of Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, and Chris Cornell’s solo work, Limo Wreck is the ultimate tribute—an unapologetic, high-voltage homage to one of the most influential voices in rock history.
