Nanaimo Reggae Massive proudly presents the return of Bogota, Colombia's La Severa Matacera. They first performed in Nanaimo at The Queen's back in 2009! Since then the band has continued to perform on major festival stages in South America and beyond. La Severa Matacera is a band anchored in the Latin American ska scene however their sound infuses elements of reggae, funk, rock as well as some Colombian rhythms. La Severa Matacera is in Canada for the Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival but with fonds memories in Nanaimo decided to add an additional show up island.
