Experience Chester County and the unique and historic Del Val Region from the ground up! Minutes from Philadelphia, easy drive from New York, Washington D.C., and New Jersey. The Chester County Balloon Festival is a community event supporting local small businesses with portions of the proceeds going to the Chester County Hero Fund and other local youth community groups. We are about the science, technology, and engineering of this basic form of flight and the discovery of its place in the history of flight as well as the inspiration and passion of careers in aviation for both men and women by sharing the fun of it! The expanded 3-day schedule highlights over 20+ hot air balloons taking flight twice per day, balloon glow featuring, untethered and tethered balloon rides, and balloon demos. He is a certified Q Arabica Grader and Assistant Instructor with the nonprofit Coffee Quality Institute, as well as a graduate student currently pursuing a degree in plant breeding with Iowa State University's Agronomy Department.
