Join Artlovelifestyle Magazine, the Compassionate Leadership Project and Coolidge Family Farm on Saturday, June 7th at 3pm for our 4th Annual Flowers that Feed Art and Fashion Showcase benefitting the Good Shepherd Food Bank! The Good Shepherd Food Bank provides 33.6million meals across Maine annually. We have been able to support over 7500 families through our efforts last year, over 6000 Mainers the two years prior, and we are hopeful to increase that this year. With federal funding being cut, heavily impacting food banks, it is more important now than ever to bring our community together to help support those who need it most. We will once again be supporting local and national sustainable fashion designers like Re-Loved fashions, bringing upcycled couture designs, Artlovelifestyle Attire, known for using fabrics made from recycled fabrics, Ben Appleby-Maguire with his abstract style, as well as some new (to us) designers to join our incredible lineup like J.M. Syron and Sarah Maxwell! Meet the artists and designers at our SIP & SHOP at the beginning and end of the show! All garments will be for sale after the show! Inside the venue you'll find a BAKE SALE and a cash bar of BEER, WINE, and BUBBLY. We hope you'll take advantage of both of these as all items were donated and all proceeds will go directly to the GOOD SHEPHERD FOOD BANK fighting hunger here in Maine! An artist series hosted by Unity Enviormental University focusing on environmental themes, public art, curation, collaboration, teaching, and attention to our natural and urban environments. A Maine-based painter and curator, Irons has held residency at the Albers Foundation, Skowhegan, MacDowell, the American Academy in Rome, the Pace House, Hewnoaks, Canterbury Shaker Village, and the Surf Point Foundation. Her work revolves around opticality, the landscape, and material culture, exploring the ways in which our reading of space and objects are impacted by color, mark, and light. His work masterfully blends his Ghanaian heritage with contemporary design, incorporating traditional symbols into functional art and fine jewelry that serve as individual expressions. July Beverage Pairing - Austin Street Brewery At Graze, we strive to increase awareness about the importance of supporting local and sustainable producers. Our goal is to strengthen local communities and economies, and to create new and sustainable income streams for local and family farmers, as well as craft beer, spirit and wines producers within the state of Maine. An evening at Graze at Pineland Farms begins at 6pm for cocktail hour with signature drinks provided by Cold River, followed by a four course amuse bouche style dinner. In honor of Meredith's brother Nathan, diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma in 2021, and in memory of Becky's mom Connie, who bravely battled Pancreatic Cancer, we're coming together to raise funds and awareness from the Dempsey Center, a place that supports those impacted by cancer. We'll be kicking the evening off with the 5k fun run (not timed), followed by music with local artists Bella Ann, After Dark & the Chris Stapleton / Miranda Lambert Tribute featuring local favorite Andi Fawcett. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and don't worry.... we've got you covered! In the event of rain, we'll bring the party into the barn.
