Artist Online Audit: Social Media & Website Crit | The Mill Gallery
Arts
Fine Art
How do others see your work online? In this session, we’ll dig into how artists can shape their digital presence to better reflect their creative practice and goals. Through a mix of group conversation, peer feedback, and low-pressure crit-style reviews, participants will have the chance to reflect on their websites, social media accounts, or digital portfolios. We’ll discuss how to curate and maintain an online presence that feels aligned with your work, your values, and your capacity. It’s not about being perfect or always posting—it’s about clarity, consistency, and making sure your online footprint speaks for you in the right way. This is a practical, peer-supported environment where you can get constructive suggestions on how to strengthen your digital platforms—from visual layout and user experience to tone of voice and content choices. You’ll leave with a fresh perspective on how others interact with your work online, as well as ideas for tweaks or bigger changes you might want to explore. Bring your laptop or device, links to your website or socials, and an open mind. Whether you’re starting from scratch or just want a fresh pair of eyes, this session is for you. This workshop is heavily subsidised, but not free, thanks to the generous funding from Leeds Council. In order to keep the workshop accessible to all, we offer three ticket tiers based on your income: £5, £10, and £15, plus the Eventbrite booking fee. We ask that you choose the ticket that best reflects what you can afford, so we can continue offering affordable opportunities for everyone. Your support helps us keep these sessions running for the creative community. About the Project The Resilient Artist Cohort is a free, artist-led development programme supporting six Leeds-based artists through mentoring, skill-sharing workshops, and hands-on exhibition experience.
