Conferences
Our Mobile Exemptions & Education Team will be on hand to help homeowners file for the Homestead Exemption, which can reduce property taxes and save money. We will also guide homeowners through other exemptions they may qualify for, such as Widow/Widower, Additional Low-Income Senior, Disability, and Veterans exemptions. For a full list of available exemptions, visit https://bcpa.net/homestead.asp . In addition, we’ll assist homeowners in signing up for our FREE Owner Alert Service to help protect against deed fraud. Criminals are filing fraudulent deeds and taking ownership of properties without the owner's knowledge. This free service will notify property owners, via text or email, if any changes are made to their deed. For more information about Owner Alert, visit https://web.bcpa.net/owneralert . Our specialists will also be available at the event to answer any questions homeowners may have about property assessments.
