ALL INCOMING 9TH GRADE STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND
We’re excited to welcome your student to
Woodcreek High School
! Our
9th Grade Orientation Day
on
Thursday, July 31st
is designed to help your child begin their high school journey with confidence, support, and connection.
Please read the details below carefully to understand who should attend each portion of the day.

Large Gym (doors open at 9:45 AM)
Student Orientation:
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Parent Meeting:
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM in the WHS Theater
Freshman Wolfpack Day:
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
(Students must register for freshman orientation only, not Wolfpack Day. No registration required for parents.)
Who Should Attend Each Part of the Day?
We’ve structured the day to be meaningful and efficient for everyone:
Link Crew Orientation (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
This is a
student-only event
. Your 9th grader will connect with upperclassmen mentors, participate in team-building activities, and start forming friendships and confidence.
Parent Meeting (12:30 PM – 1:00 PM)
Parents are invited to this brief session in the
WHS Theater
. You'll meet school leaders and get helpful insights about the school year. It ends in time for you to reconnect with your student.
Freshman Wolfpack Day (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
This portion is for
both students and parents
. It includes:
School pictures
Schedule pickup and other administrative tasks
Plan for 20 to 40 minutes
, depending on how busy it is when you arrive.
A makeup picture day will be held during the school day for those unable to attend (Wednesday, August 20th).
Can’t Attend Orientation?
If your student can’t attend Orientation or Wolfpack Day, they can visit the
WHS front office during the week of August 4th
to complete the necessary steps and receive important info.
Orientation Reminders
Arrive by
9:45 AM
for check-in
No backpacks or large bags; students may bring a small bag with snacks and water
Wear comfortable clothing for active participation
Cell phones should remain off and away during orientation
Freshmen will receive a treat at the end of the day. Donations are appreciated to cover our costs and celebrate freshmen throughout the school year.
