Mac McAnally | Cape May Convention Hall
Jul 6, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
West Cape May
Record setting 10x CMA Musician of the Year, Mac McAnally is a Nashville Songwriters HoF, Mississippi Musicians HoF and Alabama Music HoF inductee. The renowned songwriter, singer, and instrumentalist has written dozens of hit records for other artists, several of which peaked at #1. His own recording career began with debut hit single “It’s A Crazy World” and grown to 14 album releases. He has written hits for Alabama, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and Sawyer Brown, and has studio credits that include albums by Toby Keith, Linda Ronstadt, George Strait and Dolly Parton among many others.
McAnally notes that he typically sees three kinds of people at his shows: Those who have followed his career since his 1977 debut album; those who recognize him as the guitarist in Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band; and those who remember his notable credits in country music. The latter category is particularly impressive, with songs cut by Alabama (“Old Flame”),Kenny Chesney (“Back Where I Come From”), Sawyer Brown (“All These Years”), Shenandoah(“Two Dozen Roses”) and many others.

THE DRIFTERS | Cape May Convention Hall
Jul 20, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
West Cape May
Up on the Roof. Under the Boardwalk. This Magic Moment. There Goes My Baby. Dance with Me. Spanish Harlem. Stand by Me.
The list of hits goes on and on.
There's a very good reason that Rolling Stone magazine, in their iconic issue "500 Greatest Rock and Roll Performers", said of the Drifters "No group has done it this well for this long--no one, not even the Rolling Stones." That's quite a accolade to live up to but hopefully, on their latest tour, the Drifters will once again prove Rolling Stone to be the sage of
rock and roll.
Because, once again, the Drifters are on tour with a lineup of super talent revolving around performers who have had between them, over a century of making and recording the most meaningful songs in Rock and Roll.
Through their historic journey which began in the 1957, the Drifters have had no less than 5 legendary lead singers including Rock and Roll hall of Famers Clyde McPhatter and Ben E. King. Such stalwart and famed individual lead singers as Charley Thomas, Bill Pinkney and Johnny Moore have passed through the group over the years, each recording their share of Drifters hits.
And today, as has been the case for nearly 25 years, their star lead singer is Jerome Jackson.
