What makes the July 4th Lights at Lake Tahoe a one-of-a-kind experience, and frequently ranked as one of the top five fireworks displays by multiple media outlets, is its sheer size and scope. Fireworks launched from three barges soar 1,000 feet into the sky, lighting up 37 billion gallons of turquoise waters of Lake Tahoe and the 10,000-foot granite peaks of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. Adding to the spectacle are hundreds of boats surrounding the safety zone for the display and the cascading, sparkling reflections of the fireworks on the lake.

WILDLIFE: TO NOT ATTRACT WILDLIFE, STORE ALL FOOD IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINERS IN YOUR VEHICLE WITH THE WINDOWS CLOSED! USE BEAR BOXES IN CAMPSITES. NEVER KEEP ANY FOOD OR FRAGRANT SUPPLIES INSIDE YOUR TENT! TAKE YOUR TRASH TO THE DUMPSTER EACH NIGHT. THERE ARE BEARS IN THESE WOODS. CAMPFIRES: DO NOT leave your campfire burning unattended – NO EXCEPTIONS . Please keep a bucket of water or a shovel for dirt next to your fire. Please extinguish your fire in windy weather. NOTE – We will observe all applicable fire restrictions in place. Wood burning campfires may be prohibited if fire ban is in effect. Propane firepits are allowed. QUIET TIME: Please respect the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please respect other campers around you.
