2025 Summer Math Institute
Join Inland Counties Mathematics Project and San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools as we host our 2025 Summer Math Institute designed to empower TK-12 educators with innovative strategies for enhancing math instruction. Participants will explore and apply Building Thinking Classroom and Cognitively Guided Instruction principles to foster deeper student understanding and engagement in the classroom.

Learn activities for TK–2 students to help develop early counting skills, place value understanding, and strategies for operating with numbers.
Building Thinking Classrooms Part I
For teachers new to Building Thinking Classrooms, learn instructional strategies to foster student engagement and thinking.
Building Thinking Classrooms Part II
For teachers already incorporating BTC strategies and wondering what else they can do to enhance their Thinking Classrooms.
