Basket Making Workshop
with Carleigh Fairchild
Thursday, August 7 | 12 - 4pm
Discover the art of basket weaving in this hands-on workshop, where you’ll learn foundational techniques while working with natural materials. More than just a craft, basket making offers a unique opportunity to connect with your nervous system, inviting you to notice how you interact with pressure and tension as you weave. As you shape each basket, you’ll experience moments of mindfulness and self-discovery, gaining insight into your own patterns and resilience. Whether you’re new to weaving or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop is a welcoming space to unwind, create, and connect—with yourself, with others, and with the timeless tradition of basketry. Come curious, and leave with both a beautiful basket and a renewed sense of connection.
