The 2025 Asia's Top Artists Festival (ATA Festival) will be held on September 27-28 at the Youth Square at Nanji Park on the Han River in Mapo-gu, Seoul. This is the first time that the music festival will be hosted by Hankyung Media Group, South Korea's leading economic and entertainment media group. In addition to K-Pop performances, the festival will offer a full range of Korean cultural experiences. Attendees can try a variety of Korean cuisine in the "Korean Food Zone," which brings together international F&B brands and food trucks serving traditional Korean cuisine. The "Korean Beauty Zone" will provide opportunities to learn makeup techniques from professional makeup artists and try out beauty products. Celebrated across the globe for his powerful portraits with eyes that gaze back at the viewer, and his drawings that engage with daily experiences, Nara is also known for his wood, fibreglass and ceramic sculptures as well as his installations of little houses. Nara’s work explores themes of resistance, rebellion, isolation, freedom and spirituality. This thematic exhibition reveals enduring influences on the artist’s work, particularly nature and its mythology, the peace movement, the significance of home, and his interest in punk and rock music and popular culture. Born in 1959 in Japan’s Aomori prefecture, Yoshitomo Nara completed the Master of Fine Arts programme at the Aichi University of the Arts in 1987. Nara subsequently moved to Germany in 1988 and began his enrolment at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. After residing in Cologne, he returned to Japan in 2000. He has exhibited in numerous museums and galleries in Europe, the United States, Japan, and Asia since the late 1990s.This is an expanded version of the touring exhibition from the Guggenheim, Bilbao, and Museum Frieder Burda, Baden-Baden, featuring additional work, including early sculptures and new paintings.

The Macau Badminton Association and Sands China Ltd. will jointly host the "2025 Sands China Macau Badminton Open HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300" at the Macau East Asian Games Stadium from July 29 to August 3 this year. The Macau Badminton Association has been hosting this annual grand sports event in Macau since 2006. This year, this event, which is one of the World Ranking Tournaments of the BWF, continues to be co-organized with the local integrated resort company "Sands China Ltd." to fully support the cross-border integration development of "tourism + sports" and further enrich Macau's connotation as a world tourism and leisure center. The total prize money of this world-class international badminton tournament has increased to US$370,000 (approximately 3 million Macau patacas) this year. It is believed that the event will once again lead a badminton craze. The Ghibli 3D Modeling Exhibition, which explores the appeal of Studio Ghibli works, will be held at Warehouse Terada B&C HALL/E HALL in Tennoz, Tokyo from Tuesday, May 27th. Studio Ghibli works, including the movie "How Do You Live?", which has been released in over 80 countries and regions, are now being watched all over the world. Behind the scenes, there were people in each country and region who loved the works and tried to spread them over a long period of time. This exhibition will introduce famous scenes from the movies through 3D models, tracing how overseas partners distributed the works. The 3D Modeling Exhibition is the origin of the full-scale Studio Ghibli exhibition that began in 2003, and will return to Tokyo after 22 years of evolution. Of particular interest is the Savoia S-21 flying boat that appears in the movie "Porco Rosso". The impressive flying boat, created based on the assumption that it "really existed," will look like it is about to take off from Warehouse Terada at any moment. The event will run from May 27th (Tuesday) to September 23rd (Tuesday, national holiday). The "Ham Ramen" that was on sale at the "Friday Road Show and Ghibli Exhibition" two years ago and became a hot topic will be back at the water facility "T-LOTUS M" next to the venue.
