The 10th Annual Blues, Brews, and BBQ event will take place at Finley's Bar & Grill in Nelson on Saturday, April 6, 2024. This special edition of the event will showcase two bands, Flaming Aardvarks and Barbecue Brews Blues Band, with all proceeds benefiting Kootenay Co-op Radio and Kootenay Blues Society. Experience the Go Velo FREE Children's Learn To Ride event in Pendle at the Steven Burke Sport Hub in Nelson. This Half-Term, children aged 4 and above can participate in the cycling sessions, where they will learn to ride a bike in a secure and enjoyable setting. Lancashire County Council has generously funded this initiative. Bikes and helmets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't miss out. Remember to dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather, wear trainers, and bring a drink. Children must be accompanied by an adult during the training, but accompanying adults do not need to bring a bicycle or participate in the session.
