In our Project Gallery is Shadow Biosphere by Sunny Nestler. The subject matter of their work considers parallel universes teeming with invented creatures based on familiar symbols, their relatedness, and their reflection in our internal landscapes. Their current projects center ecological concerns in the Salish Sea watershed area, a type of parallel universe called the shadow biosphere, and Yiddish language revival. Third Space Charity's Continued Learning Series Grief Therapist Facilitator Training Date: September 18-20, 2025 Time: 9am-4pm Location: Landmark 4 building, lower lobby, room #2 Description: Join Clair Jantzen for this 3-day intensive workshop geared towards those with an interest in being equipped to lead support groups focused on grief and loss. Participants will experience what it's like to be involved with others who are navigating loss. It is an intensely personal journey as we learn to open ourselves up to the losses of our own lives, share them with others and receive the content of their experiences, too. The facilitator will model the leadership role, leading the participants on the journey of grief exploration. At the end of the workshop, you will have a duplicatable program which you can implement in your own sphere of service. The workshop employs small and large group sessions along with personal time and working lunches. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own beverages and food to stay refreshed throughout the event. Water, coffee, and tea will be available throughout the day all three days.
