Alexander the Great Marathon turns 20 and celebrates the 20th edition in 2026! A total of 14.800 runners, aged 9-85 years, flooded the streets of Thessaloniki and Macedonia, lived a unique experience, won the applause of many fans and sent a message of fitness and health, through an event that has also social, cultural, environmental, touristic and historic character. An event that since 2006 is “joining” Pella with Thessaloniki and displays throughout the world the name of Alexander the Great. The International Marathon “ALEXANDER the GREAT” connects the past with the present, crossing within 42 km over 2.500 years of Macedonian history and Hellenism. The International Marathon is member of the International Marathons Association (AIMS) and it is included in the official and annual calendar.

ADRIANO GALLIANI SI RACCONTA A CAMPIONI SOTTO LE STELLE is an upcoming talk-show sports event in Biella. The renowned format, hosted by Alessandro Alciato and organized by the Sports Department of the Municipality of Biella, will feature Adriano Galliani, CEO of Monza. Galliani, known for his success with Milan under Silvio Berlusconi's ownership, will share insights from his book "Le memorie di Adriano G." alongside various anecdotes. Among the distinguished guests of Campioni sotto le Stelle are Andriy Shevchenko, Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluigi Buffon, Pierluigi Collina, Stefano Pioli, Javier Zanetti, Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, Claudio Marchisio, Massimo Ambrosini, Lorenzo Sonego, Luigi Samele, Gianmarco Pozzecco, Gianni Petrucci, and Umberto Gandini. The event will take place on May 24, 2024, at Città Studi, 10 Corso Giuseppe Pella, 13900 Biella. Admission is free, but reservations are required to attend this exclusive gathering of sports legends and enthusiasts.
