The NoSleepTilWolflin 2023 Adios 4.44-Mile Footrace is an exhilarating event taking place in Amarillo. Set in the serene and dimly lit Olsen Park, this footrace promises an unforgettable experience. The race commences at precisely 4:44, and the goal is to complete the entire 4.44-mile course without utilizing any sidewalks, alleys, or parking lots. Once accomplished, participants will reach the notable west-facing stop sign at Teckla and Olsen, where the winner will be awarded the prestigious Golden Rooster trophy. The victor will also have the honor of defending this trophy in the subsequent year. However, if the champion is unable to uphold their title, they must relinquish the trophy to NSTW before December 31, 2024. The victorious runner's name and time will be immortalized on the esteemed trophy. While there are no race officials present on the course, a guiding bike will help steer participants through the turns. It is expected that each runner conducts themselves responsibly, showing kindness to fellow participants and respect for the residents of Olsen Park and their property. The race is unlikely to be postponed due to weather conditions, except in the case of extraordinary events like sharknados, blood rain, amphibious rain, or unusually large hail.
