This event, organized by the South East Region, aims to provide RAD students in the South East Region with a fun and open level ballet class where they can compete for a place at the Awards Day final. The final will take place at RAD HQ on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Participants in the three Grand Finals classes will have the chance to win a cash prize of £300, with additional prizes for the first and second runners up in each class. To be eligible, candidates must be between 8 - 17 years old and meet the class requirements by December 1, 2023. It is important to note that students must be entered in the county where they attend classes with their RAD teacher. For example, if a student lives in Hampshire but attends classes in Surrey, they must be entered in the Surrey heat. There are three classes available for registration: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Class A is for students who have passed RAD Grade 1 or above but have not yet taken Grade 3. Class B is for those who have passed Grade 3 or above but have not yet taken Grade 5 or any of the Vocational examinations. Class C is for students who have passed Grade 5 or above but have not yet taken the Intermediate Examination.
