This one-day course is for individuals who may have less than six months' fundraising experience and want to improve their current understanding. It’s designed for individuals new to a paid-for role involving fundraising but equally relevant for volunteers and trustees who need to expand their knowledge of fundraising. It’s also suitable for people who are not yet working in the sector or considering a career change into fundraising.
By attending this course you will gain increased confidence through your improved knowledge and understanding of fundraising. This will help you develop your fundraising practice. You will have a better understanding of the fundamentals of why and how donors and supporters give, and have insight into how you can measure the success of your activities. Crucially you will also find out more about the legal requirements and standards which apply to fundraising and the role and importance of the independent Fundraising Regulator and Code of Practice.

The role of fundraising in your organisation and the wider non-profit environment
How to compare different sources of funding for your organisation
How to ensure your fundraising is legal and ethical
How to analyse the impact of the fundraising environment on your fundraising practice
Understanding of the fundraising planning process and your role within it
How to create appropriate supporter communications, designed to develop relationships

Cancellation

Walking among the Egyptian mummies, I came across the glass reflection of the Rosetta Stone. Under the cold stone folds of the Parthenon sculptures, there are always tourists looking up and frozen into silhouettes. The display cabinets are more crowded than the exhibits. The Buckingham Palace Changing of the Guard ceremony is a symbolic royal cultural event in London. You should occupy a favorable position in advance. At the appointed time, the guards, wearing red uniforms and bearskin hats, enter the venue to the sound of the military band &quot;God Save the King&quot;. The old and new guards take over their posts. The scene is very shocking. A large number of tourists gather outside the iron gate, vying to witness the changing of the guard ceremony of the royal guard.

Night view

I was shivering in the cold and queued for 40 minutes. I spent all the money I saved by booking tickets online on hot cocoa. My feet were numb when the glass cabin rose to the middle of the air - the Thames River was twisted into a tinfoil ribbon, and Big Ben was as small as a Lego block. The night view was really amazing. When the purple ring lit up, the whole river looked like it was splashed with fluorescent paint. When I landed, my legs were weak. I looked back and saw the purple ring that had collapsed into a rag. I thought: It was worth it, but I will buy a fast ticket next time.

Windsor Castle is a place worth punching in. Walk into the ancient castle to witness the history of the Royal British History. If you are tired, you can sit in the coffee shop in the castle. Aftertaste the luxurious buildings in the palace, wait after 3 pm. Take a few blockbusters when the light is good. You can also see the sentry changing in Windsor Castle.
