The stage performance of &quot;Song of Everlasting Regret&quot; creates a visual spectacle with brilliant lights and magnificent scenes, interpreting the love tragedy of Emperor Minghuang of Tang and Yang Guifei beautifully. The design of the water stage is ingenious, and the prosperity and decline of the prosperous Tang Dynasty are reflected in the rippling water; the huge lineup of hundreds of actors presents a suffocating audio-visual impact with the cooperation of sound, light and electricity.
However, under this gorgeous shell, the performance has fallen into the dilemma of cultural expression. The choreography that pursues visual shock too much has reduced the story that originally contained profound historical heritage and human struggle to a background board. Although the dance movements are uniform, they lack emotional tension, and the gorgeous costumes cover up the real waves in the characters&#39; hearts. When technical means become the protagonist, cultural connotations will inevitably become decorations.
What this performance finally presents is a beautiful empty shell that has been emptied of historical weight. It satisfies modern audiences&#39; imagination of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, but fails to convey the emotional power and cultural weight of &quot;Song of Everlasting Regret&quot; that has traveled through thousands of years.
But overall, the ticket price is still too high.

First of all, I would like to thank the tailor Lin Juanjuan. It was my first time to go to Xi&#39;an. This ancient city with a deep historical heritage helped me avoid many detours. The food and performances she introduced were very nice. My children liked them very much. Later, I added several performances and watched them all. The airport pick-up was very timely and the tailor was enthusiastic. I hope to go there again next time. Great~~~

Tang Paradise

Don&#39;t be misled by the TikTok anchor. The Tang Paradise is definitely much better than the Tang Dynasty City That Never Sleeps. If you think the ticket price is expensive, you can buy a combined ticket for 120 yuan with a drum or acrobatic performance, because the performance is really good. The drum performance I watched was a non-legacy performance, which lasted 30 minutes. There were two segments that made my blood boil. In addition, there are free performances in the Paradise. I watched four of them. You don&#39;t have to squeeze with the crowd. The night view is super beautiful at night. You can walk around slowly without so many people. It&#39;s very comfortable. The Paradise is also beautiful during the day. The architecture is exquisite, reflecting the beauty of the atmosphere. The only thing is that there are very few food items for sale, so it&#39;s best to bring some dry food with you. But the good thing is that there is not much commercial atmosphere, so it&#39;s suitable for tourists who want to play slowly and appreciate slowly.
