Room
Very spacious, clean and cozy, no public showering area nor onsen.
With its high floors and large window, the best part of this hotel is its panoramic view of the city. May it be one of the tallest buildings in Shizuoka? Unlike those in Tokyo, room is big enough in this hotel. Decorations and equipments seemed to be a bit old-school but still nice to use. I liked the large tub a lot. BTW, the hotel is just in front of the station and a mall. So, it is super convenient for travelers.
The room is large and extremely nice, all the required amenities are there. The view from the room balcony is magnificent, overseeing the beach . The unseen in the room is nice too, the temperature is just right .
The free taxi service to and from station is very thoughtful and convenient. this is better than shuttle bus service which some hotels offer.
The breakfast options are many with both western, Japanese, and even a bit of chinese.
This hotel boasts stunning views. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and you can soak in the hot spring bath while enjoying direct views of Mount Fuji. I'll definitely be staying longer on my next visit! A complimentary shuttle service to the hotel is a huge plus, and the overall environment is truly wonderful. The only minor drawback is that dining options aren't very convenient.
Close to the train station, although it has a bit of history. But the room is large, comfortable and hygienic. It is well-equipped, and the most outstanding thing is the large window in the room. The scenery is comparable to the sightseeing bay in a big city. You can see the entire Hamamatsu City in the distance. From sunrise to sunset, it is very gorgeous.
There is a Japanese-style landscaped pavilion garden, which is very comfortable. The dinner is very rich. You can upgrade the breakfast to sea bream for an extra fee. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, which are very comfortable. There are fireworks for sale in the lobby, and you can play with fireworks at the door of the hotel.
Hmmmmm where do I begin. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, we could not have had a better time. The private onsen is the highlight of the trip. The spacious room and the beds on the beds they were so comfortable that we had had looked up the supplier and paid a visit to their store in Tokyo. Would definitely stay here again and totally worth it.
visited the Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa and were very impressed!
The hotel was spotlessly clean, which created a very pleasant feeling of coziness and comfort.

Onsen: The onsen is top notch! It was a real paradise for relaxation and recovery.
Lounge area: A pleasant time in the lounge area with drinks and snacks became the highlight of our holiday.
Breakfast: A chic selection of dishes for breakfast pleased us with variety and quality.
We definitely want to go to this hotel! We recommend it to everyone who is looking for comfort and relaxation.
Very Big Room with Fuji Mountain View. The staffs are very nice. Once I forgot the room card and phone to went to Onsen, a staff helped me check my identity and opened the door for me. On the check-in, our toilet door has some problems and I reported to the staff. A manager came very soon, check the door and tell us there was not engineer at that moment and she proposed room swapping for us. As it's a minor problem, we declined the offer.
In general, this is the most luxury hotel in Japan I've been. Really enjoy the hotel and Onsen.
The service was very good. Someone came to greet us as soon as we arrived at the hotel. We worked hard to introduce the hotel to us. The dining was Japanese-style, exquisite and delicious. The suite booked, the room is large, there is a private soup in the courtyard, and I have a chance to stay for a few more days next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the mountains near Shuzenji Temple. We originally booked this hotel expecting a beautiful view, but the waiter actually gave us a room facing the staff entrance. Not only did we not have a window view, but as soon as we opened the curtains, we could see the staff coming in and out and the garbage trucks, which really affected our mood. The hygiene in the hot spring dressing room was also worrying. The wall near the exhaust fan was obviously dusty and dirty. The hygiene of this hotel was not very good. 😑 There was hair left by someone on the bedside in the room. Sigh😑, I have to give a bad review.

JjiayansunriseThe hotel is at the top of the mountain in Shuzenji. You need to take a Marriott bus from Shuzenji Station, which takes about 30 minutes to get there. It rained heavily that day. After the rain, I felt the fresh air and beautiful scenery when I went up the mountain. The environment outside is first-class for vacation. There are large baths, courts, swimming pools and other fitness facilities. The hotel is too big. It takes about 200-300 meters from the reception center to the building where the room is located. There is a shuttle bus every 20 minutes. The room is large, the layout is reasonable, and the decoration is relatively new, but the color is dark. The soft environment of the hotel can be complained. There is no water, no slippers, no phone in the room. The room is slightly damp. The breakfast is a poorly equipped buffet. Dinner arrived late and I didn’t try it, but I guess the breakfast will not be too good after looking at it. Other than these, everything else is good. If you are looking for a quiet place with a good environment for vacation, then this hotel can be chosen.
Kkelly_7997This was a pilgrimage spot for my son's LoveLive! fandom. The setting on Awashima Island where the hotel is located is truly wonderful, and all rooms offer views of Mount Fuji. The Suruga dinner we pre-booked was quite decent, and the hotel also features both indoor and outdoor onsen (hot springs). The service was excellent, and they even have staff who speak Chinese. The island is quiet and sparsely populated, offering a peaceful, unhurried pace of life. The overall experience was incredibly relaxing, making it perfect for introverts. Entry to the island's aquarium is free for hotel guests.
