You will have to check flights to Charleville (CTL) or Blackall (BKQ) and take a bus to Cunnamulla (CMA) and then hire a car to drive down to Thargomindah (XTG).

The Dig Tree is another famous site where William Brahe, left in Command to explorers Burke and Wills, buried supplies and carved the word “Dig”. The irony is that Brahe left seven hours before the explorers came back from the exhausting expedition to the spot.
