If you are looking for an easy sunrise experience, this hotel is for you! You can set the alarm, then open the curtain. Once the alarm goes off, open your eyes and there you go! Sun is rising in front of your eyes!
My happiness was beyond words.
The beach, the sauna, the vibe was all fantastic!
Staff greeted warmly, was able to check in slightly earlier even if it was 30mins early. Room was relatively clean and bed is comfortable, the view was astounding. It was worth the price I paid for! (Glad to come across the discounted prices)
There's BHC chicken, minimart and CU convenience store too, also other restaurants. Should you prefer another convenience store, there is a e-mart next to the hotel and a lot of the raw fish restaurants down the road. Though quite of a distance from the downtown city, taxi fares are relatively affordable. Great experience!
Nevertheless will definitely come back to stay again if opportunity arises.
I recently stayed at Ramada Hotel and found it very convenient, especially with the free shuttle service provided. The shuttle runs from Jinbu Station to the hotel, as well as from the hotel to Yongpyong and Alpensia Ski Resorts. Just make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance —it's available on their website or at the reception counter.
The breakfast selection was decent. What I loved most was the convenience of the in-house ski rental shop. We could pick up our ski equipment and suits early and have it ready in our room, making it super easy to head straight to the ski resort the next day.
One area for improvement would be promoting other attractions in Pyeongchang, such as ice sculpture shows (if available) or other unique activities, to make the experience even more memorable.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone visiting the area.
It's a bit inconvenient because the location isn't downtown, but the hotel itself is clean and okay. These days, I have a lot of meetings in Daegu, so I go to Daegu often, and I always use Inter-Burgo. To that extent, there is a certain level of trust based on name alone. This place is also clean and is not a bed for sleeping while traveling occasionally.
The amount I paid for our three days staying at the hotel paid off.
Its cleanness and amenities were excellent, its location to the nearby restaurant was very convenient. The ocean view was phenomenal. Parking guide was there 24/7 and I liked it very much. The front desk girls were very nice and polite. I strongly recommend this place to anyone. Five stars rated plus
It’s a great hotel that provides a lot of services. You don’t need to go outside but there are no toothbrushes in the room which I thought was going to be part of the package
Vivaldi Park Resort in Hongcheon is a versatile destination suitable for a wide range of activities, from skiing in winter to water parks.
It offers great facilities and a scenic, relaxing environment for visitors year-round.
Our room showed a nice view of Seorak Mt and city and ocean view.
Nice clean, small studio look with full refrigerator/ freezer, clothing washer, not working induction , lots of cabinets spaces.
East to find the location. Staffs are kind too.
It was very clean and the location was good
It rained in the morning, but the view of the ocean under the rain was nice..
The hotel also played a part in making good memories with 5 friends
The Kensington Hotel truly feels like it has a story. There's a unique charm that makes you want to spend your time within the hotel itself. I enjoyed limiting my outside sightseeing and instead staying in, whether strolling through the beautiful gardens or exploring the hotel's interior, which is wonderfully themed around Olympic history. I remember the Kensington Seorak being a bit inconvenient without a convenience store, so it was a pleasant surprise that the Pyeongchang hotel had one on-site. I'd definitely love to visit again if it snows.

GGuest UserRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the casino specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the casino donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.
NNaveedAdvantages
Conveniently situated
Generously sized accommodations
Impressive amenities
Perfect for family trips, this place offers all the amenities you need, just like an Airbnb. You'll find a cooker, pots and pans and cutlery readily available.
Conveniently located near a variety of dining options
Drawbacks
The staff had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging.
Upon our early arrival at around 11am, we found the reception area to be deserted. Along with other guests, we were left waiting at the counter, unsure of what to do. Finally, around 1pm, a receptionist appeared. However, rather than simply informing us that check-in was only possible after two, they made each guest wait in queue to deliver the same message. Upon returning to the reception at 2, we were informed that we had to wait an additional hour. This experience was quite unprofessional and made it challenging to enjoy other activities
하하물개This seems like the best hotel in Gangwon-do; the ocean view pool was large and nice, and they upgraded me to a premier twin, so I could see the ocean from the terrace, the bathtub, and everywhere, which made me feel great throughout my stay! The staff were all friendly, and there were a lot of facilities, so I'm going to bring my parents next time~~ I highly recommend it!

DDavid HerbertThe hotel has a great location right in front of Naksan Beach (a great beach - lots of white sand). There are restaurants and supermarkets close by and it is a quick taxi ride to the Yangyang airport and Yangyang bus depot.
Staff are efficient and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and the rooms, passages and common areas are newly carpeted and newly painted. There is a small gym and laundry room available for use.
Most guests seemed to stay only one night which seemed strange, given the great location. The only thing that could be improved upon is some basic facilities in the room. There is no cupboard (although there is enough space for one), only one chair (and its fairly uncomfortable at that) and no furniture on the balcony - we really wanted to sit on the balcony and look at the sea in the evenings, but there is nothing to sit on.
At the time that we stayed there (October 2024) there was quite a bit of construction noise as there are hotels being built on either side of the Naksan (although this is not the fault of the hotel itself).
WWee ChiewThe receptionist at check in and when I checked out (can’t believe I forgot to ask her name) is amazing! She’s eloquent in English and really helpful, helping me call a cab etc. The hotel has all the amenities needed and is very much like an apartment so there’s the kitchen sink, full fridge and freezer, kitchen stuff, cutleries and bowls, washing machine, paper cups, kettle etc. lots of space in the room too. Nice park near the hotel and lots of food option. Would stay here again if I come to Donghae.

GGuest UserIt was so clean and nice. I sincerely thank you for the good price and happy memories. The view was also nice. I will use Trip.com again next time.
GGuest UserGreat location and very comfortable! The hotel staff have created a warm and welcoming environment with lots of cozy zones inside. Beautiful walking track around the lake out back. The only minor gripe I had was that the breakfast was mediocre and it got boring having the same spread every day, down to the types of fruit and drinks served. Staying at the hotel also ensures you get 30% off the ski lift and gear rental which was an added plus!
