Except that the breakfast was not very satisfying and I felt a little wet and itchy when I went to bed at night, everything else was good! The attitude is so considerate and nice!
The little train next to them will also wave flags in the hotel! Very interesting! Overall not bad! We arrived at the hotel late the day before and the guy would ask us if we had dinner.
A standard Japanese hot spring hotel with weakly alkaline water. The room I booked online was 60 square meters, which was not the actual room. I could see the canyon from one corner of the room. It was probably fully booked due to the short holiday. Breakfast and dinner were buffets, with local specialties mainly Japanese and Western food.
This is our first rayon. General impressions are great!!! Very interesting experience. Staff very, very straight-a-friendly. Food is fresh seafood, rice, local soups. You can't say it is not delicious. Delicious. It's a lot of it, but after the third table like this, you want something with the pasta:)))) the room was cleaned every day. There is a transfer to the station. The view from the window is beautiful. In general a quiet place designed for resting with the soul and the body!!!
Below is a photo of the hotel and the nearby locations.
Beautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)
Unazuki Hot Spring Hotel is expensive. The problem is that the waiter who brought in the room does not speak English and is not proficient with the hotel's translation software. As a result, we were told that dinner was in the room, and we were waiting in the room on the 13th floor. It's actually in the private room of the restaurant on the 9th floor. After a quarter of an hour after the appointed time, please ask at the front desk to know the correct way. Dinner and breakfast are good. The room is 12 folds, plus the balcony area after sealing, and the tea is in the entrance. There are special drinking water taps. The pictures of breakfast and dinner can't accommodate, it's not bad. The hot springs are very good, and the male and female outdoor baths change every morning. The scenery is beautiful.
My colleagues wanted to experience a Japanese-style family hotel and booked this one. It’s very cost-effective! It even scares the Japanese customers hahaha. The hotel operators are all old men and women. They are very friendly and can speak English. When you go out, you can see the back of the Big Buddha. It is the third largest Buddha in Japan. Customers say that this Big Buddha looks more handsome. The house is very old, but the rooms are very clean and spacious, and the stay is very comfortable. Bathing, washing, and toilets are all shared, which I am used to. Breakfast is also delicious! I will consider this place when traveling to Toyama in the future.
A very nice onsen hotel in Himi. We booked a large quiet room (no. 535) which was value for money indeed. All the rooms, onsens and the restaurant are having magificant sea and mountain view. As we visited in mid-November, we missed the snowy mountain on the postcards that will be presented to customers. Dinner was yummy. We were served by a very helpful Filipino lady who spoke fluent English which was seldom in this part of Japan.
The day before I got on the Kurobe Canyon Trolley train, I used it for consecutive nights on the day. Very cozy and nice inn. The bath was also slow, and the dog who welcomed me was very cute and healed. I'm completely tired. I will repeat it when I come to Toyama again.

GGuest UserFirst time to experienced Japanese style ryokan and it's wonderful.
I like the place, very near the train station and to my intended tourist spot.
I really liked their Japanese style breakfast, It was so good and healthy.
The owner both the mother and son can speak english and very accomodating, helpful and very nice.
I will come back to this place if given a chance.
GGuest UserThis time, the guest house I always go to because I wanted to make a reservation in a hurry a week ago was full, so I found this inn and used it. The inn is very tasteful and neatly arranged, and it is not expensive for 々, but the fresh flowers are very good, and I was able to spend very clean 々.
You can't see the view from the room, but the room with a nice view is a joint resting place and you can see it slowly from there. The women's bath is small 々 small, but it was possible to make a reservation and charter at 々, so I was grateful for the ingenuity.
The meals were delicious because they took time and effort to make good ingredients, and they were delicious until the end without getting tired of not only fish but also meat. I saw the situation of rice as a substitute, and I left it with a rice cooker and enjoyed delicious rice to my heart's content.
Only one thing, since the guest room is on the second floor, you have to go up and down the steep stairs 々, and you may hesitate a little to take your elderly parents ‥.
It was an inn that I would like to use again.
GGuest UserVery satisfied with the stay! The boss is Chinese, very kind, and helped me arrange everything properly. He introduced me to the scenery here and gave a lot of suggestions for playing and life. It is really a very sincere boss. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very warm, the boss solved any problems as soon as possible, and recommended us authentic restaurants nearby. The overall feeling is like being a guest at a friend's house, at ease and comfortable, I will stay here next time!
GGuest UserI stayed without meals. It was very good that I had everything I needed. The location was very good. The autumn leaves of the autumn mountains were beautiful.
From the location, the beetle was easy to enter the room and was hit by the ”beetle attack”, and it was troubled by the smell of the anno even in the middle of the night, but the others were good.
