Cozy riad operated by warm hearted family. Decor is soooo nice it’s beyond words, just entering into the riad will make you note this is something very beautiful you never saw before. Designs should be made by someone who love the place from the bottom of their heart. Operations should be by someone who love the place so much. In Dar D’or fes, you will see everything on how our life should be. The best riad in Fes. Thank you for all your kindness. I was so lucky to meet you all.
Hotel location is not far from the parking lot, about 200-300 meters walk. However, it is difficult to carry out the large baggage alley stone road. It is recommended to pay a tip to hire a small cart for about 20 dirhams. Sometimes if there is more baggage, it will bargain. There is no more than 4 big names, Li is generally 20DH. The hotel belongs to the Fez Traditional Courtyard B&B. The room on the first floor was slightly ventilated and the bedding was a bit tidal. Breakfast is on the terrace and it is very romantic.
Breakfast is a local breakfast, see the picture, relatively plain. I like to eat meat in the morning so it is not very appetizing. The hotel itself is really beautiful, the official website said that the 13XX Pasha Palace was refurbished and refurbished. The hotel is located in the old town and is convenient to wherever you go. But the Old City is harder to find, so you must not miss the sign on the wall when you walk! Finally, in a digression, I encountered a small gangster who forced the way to lead money in the alley. Don't want to save money for the sake of saving money!
After booking the hotel, I found out that it was recommended on lp. It takes about 10-15 minutes to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. Call the staff to tell the driver the address, and they will pick it up. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the blue gate. It is not clean and friendly. Staying smoothly and with a welcome mint tea and homemade Moroccan biscuits. The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. It is especially commendable that the hot bath is awesome, but the indoor wifi signal is slightly weaker. We stayed for three days, and the breakfast combination changed a bit every day, very delicious. There is also a small sitting terrace on the upper floor, which shows a small mosque next door and a castle in the distance. Very recommended!
- Hey,
I wanted to share my experience at the Maure House. I really loved staying there with my son. The frame is beautiful, the medina is just aside, and the atmosphere is really warm. I want to thank the boss, as well as Salma, Jalila and Fauzia, for their kindness and availability.
Very friendly service. They texted me right back via WhatsApp regarding questions. Late check in possible. Breakfast ist great, however normally not included with Trip.com. The lobby is very big for a Medina Riad. The terrasse offers a great view. Room and everything else is very clean and looks renovated. Definitely one of the upper-class Riads in Medina -of course also not the cheapest one.5/5 stars
An Arab homestay with a unique atmosphere, health and service are very good, do not have to be described, the original alley winding path, into a tall ornate, like a palace-like space, we are the first time to Morocco, very for ourselves to choose it by the picture*. In particular, it should be emphasized that the manager actually taught himself Chinese to achieve the basic level of communication. His half-dumb Chinese was mixed with our half-dumb English. It was very harmonious and did not feel hiking. Stayed in Feis for two days, very happy, awesome

AAngie Laibaby ArmchannelLove this Riad, it is so clean and beautiful inside and the roof top with a nice Panorama view . Before arriving the riad, they sent me an email asking my WhatsApp so they can send me the exact location and so video clips for me to know how to get there since Google map doesn’t work when getting inside the Medina . They said if I really couldn’t find the way, they could pick me up in one of the entrances to the riad. I thought I could find it but I failed so I called them. One of the staff came out immediately and helped me my luggage. The two young staff there are very helpful and friendly. Since I was so late to arrive , so one staff (should be called Abdullah) brought me out again so I can Rmb how to get out and in again next time. The other young staff also brought me where I can find friendly convenient store nearby to get essentials. Love them and so helpful. The breakfast was nice too. The AC inside the Room is good and the water pressure and the heat were good too ! Highly recommend this Riad when u travel to fez next time. Rmb to bring ur amenities since they do not provide any bathing items or toothbrush. Recommend the riad to have a rubbish bin in the room instead of just inside the toilet.
GGuest UserThe contact person is so nice that helped us arrange city tour and transport to another city. Even though we had to leave at 8, which was not the breakfast timeslot, the house keeper prepared food for us to take away. We had so much fun here.
GGuest UserThe staff was super nice. They offered tea when I felt sick. Especially the breakfast staff was very nice and attentive, Yunus has helpful all along.
However there were a couple of things that we did not like. We had booked a room that in the end was not where we stayed. They told us they'd give us a better room, as the original one was too noisy. I suppose that was true, that the original was too noisy, the one we got did not get sounds from the interior, although it was way too loud outside. Bring earplugs. Also, out bathroom did not have a door, only a curtain, and had a pretty uncomfortable configuration. The towels were not fully clean.
BB Mack 85Visually the place is okay, with a roof terrace with a good view of hills and the medina for sunset. The bed was comfortable and the shower was decent, but the room was cold. The owner is a bit of clown, and the breakfast is very poor, with no eggs. My booking was for 2 people, including breakfast for 2 people, but since I am just one person, the least they could do is throw in a couple of fried eggs and some pleasant Moroccan hospitality — but there was none. No English is spoken, so make sure your French is good enough to complain about the poor, glucose-spiking, protein-less peasant’s breakfast.
GGuest UserThe Riad is right for the price. It's centrally located at the Medina. I got the room at the rooftop. No lift, only a narrowed spiral staircase. You have to carry your luggage up & down. If you are elderly and have issues with your back or knee problem this place is not for you.
If you need to talk to the owner of the Riad you have to watsapp him if you have any concerns. I had an issue with my door lock. Luckily, they quickly addressed my issue & changed my door lock immediately.
VvoiletteThe 14th century house, the building itself is very beautiful and amazing. Breakfast is on the top of the building, the scenery is great, and you can see a large area of medina. The room facilities are also good, basically have everything they should. But the old house also has problems. The soundproofing is too poor. There is a room on the second floor that can be heard up and down by the elevator, and the noise in the aisle will be loud. It was already evening on the day of arrival, and when I entered the house, I rushed into the smell of disinfectant water. The biggest breakdown is that there are 4 power jumps in 2 nights. This kind of thing happens in such a house is really scary. When the staff said that this had never happened before, it made people feel even more terrifying. The traffic is fairly convenient, you can park nearby, and you don’t have to drag your luggage for too long. But this location is actually quite far away from the regular old city activity area, and the shortcuts in the old city don't dare to go at night. We wanted to take a taxi on the side of the road at about four or five o'clock. It was difficult to take a taxi. It seemed that the taxis were full of people. Leaving in the morning, I had to take a taxi to the CTM station. Since it is difficult to call a petit taxi at this location during the day, I asked the front desk to help book a private car. It takes about ten minutes and 100dhr. If you know you have been killed, you can only use this method.
The girl at the front desk is very dedicated and feels like she is sitting there day and night. If you have any questions, just ask her, but it makes people feel that pushing dinner and spa is a bit too much, but I don’t say anything if I refuse. Woke up the morning before leaving and helped us pack breakfast.
EEva Li 622It is a very nice place in Medina. Madame Hanane makes the rooms very clean and beautiful, she also cooks the guests breakfast. She cooks in the lovely kitchen and her dishes are very delicious. Ms. Jihane is helpful as well, as she replies me very fast. Don’t hesitate to choose this riad. It’s a best riad I lived in Morocco.
GGuest UserThanks to the help of the uncle at the front desk, I booked the CTM ticket for Shefshawan, introduced the history and recommended attractions of the ancient city, the riad is very Moroccan, only 200m from the blue door, along the main road you can find the leather factory will not be lost in 9000 alleys
EElizavetaA wonderful riada in Medina Fesa! The hosts are very caring, everything is made for the comfort of the guests. Air conditioning, cleanliness, coloring the east in all the room decoration! Excellent spent two days, incredibly delicious home cooking, luxurious view on the terrace! The only nuance is separate from the shower room, but in general it is more specific to the Riada itself, we didn't stop. There is a parking nearby. Thanks to the hosts for such a warm reception!
