The location was great, within walking distance of Registan Square, and the room was nice, so the owner's behavior was disappointing.

About 15 minutes walk to Registan Square. About 7 minutes to mini shop. It is located in a residential area in the back of the old town. I stayed for 4 nights, but on the 3rd day there was cleaning and towel replacement. There is a toothbrush in the room but there is no cup. The air-conditioning is also good. Of the minuses - the windows overlook the road, and the roads in Samarkand (maybe specifically in this area) are very, very loud, there is an endless stream of cars that never stop honking. It's okay at night, but in the morning even with the window closed you won't sleep for long - if that's important to anyone. Well, and the entrance to the hotel is through the catering hall, but this is probably not so important. Breakfast is there, in the catering hall - continental.

The environment is OK, that is, when I checked out, the aunt of the hotel asked me for 30 dollars that was included in the tax in the room rate, which made me a little confused. After that, every hotel has to charge extra money. I think they are intentional. If they can ask for more, they will ask for more. The bathroom of the Uzbekistan Hotel is generally blocked. The drainage of this homestay is normal, the bathroom wall is very distinctive, and the breakfast is not bad.

The prices were affordable, and there's a Hunan restaurant upstairs. The airport is three kilometers away, making it very convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
