This hostel was quite comfortable, mainly because the owner really pays attention to many details. For example, there was always toilet paper in the bathroom – not once did it run out during my month-long stay. If the shoe rack wasn't suitable, the owner would replace it with a new one. Also, if someone was smoking 🚬 or making loud noise after midnight, the owner would genuinely step in to stop it. The owner runs this hostel with great dedication, making it a perfect spot for anyone visiting Shenzhen on business to rest and spend the night.

The experience exceeded my expectations. My roommates were friendly. I thought the low price wouldn't bring me such a good experience. But the atmosphere of the hostel was still unexpected. There were uncles from Zhejiang traveling to Sanya, as well as athletes who came to participate in the marathon. It may be an unforgettable part of my postgraduate entrance examination.

There are many entrances in that building - this big entrance near the kids playgrounds and McDonalds is the one to hostel elevator. 24h security guard downstairs might ask for ID. Gangxia exit B and Gangxia North exit 9 subway entrances are both 100m away - in Gangxia trains are closer. Hostel itself has limited space, nothing fancy, but friendly staff speak english. I've seen better hostels, but based on ratings not sure if Shenzhen has any lol, at least for male travellers. Dengba was quite similar, more spacey, just a bit more walk to subways.

The overall service was excellent, especially compared to hotels in Hong Kong. 1. The front desk staff explained everything in great detail, clearly introducing each area. The service was very thoughtful, and laundry was also very convenient. 2. Each bed has its own private space, offering strong privacy and excellent blackout. Even staying on the top bunk didn't feel inconvenient at all. 3. Joining the group chat and WeChat made communication easy. It was very convenient to contact the front desk for anything I needed. 4. The shower and restroom areas were clean and hygienic, with plenty of hooks for clothes. The public common area was spacious and offered many amenities. Bonus point: You can pet a cat! There's a Ragdoll who is really adorable! As a hostel for a transitional period, it truly met all my needs! Highly recommended!

What an unexpected gem of a hostel! It's located right on Longyan South Road, with tons of local eateries just steps away. The atmosphere is fantastic. I met some great people, and we ended up exploring together and even played some games with other guests. There's a common area where you can watch movies or TV. If I didn't have other plans, I would have definitely stayed longer. The bathroom was a bit small and had a squat toilet, but that's understandable for a hostel – you can't compare it to a hotel.

I recently stayed at this hostel during my trip, and overall, it turned out to be a really great experience, especially considering the value for money. One of the biggest advantages of this place is its location — it is very close to a metro station, which makes commuting around the city extremely easy and hassle-free. Whether you are planning to explore tourist attractions, markets, or just move around for food and shopping, the connectivity is a huge plus. Coming to cleanliness, which is often a major concern in hostels — I was genuinely impressed. The beds are well-maintained, comfortable, and provide a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. The linens are fresh and clean, which instantly makes you feel more at ease. The bathrooms, too, are kept in excellent condition, with proper hygiene standards being followed consistently. It really adds to the overall comfort and trust factor of the place. Because of all these reasons, I would definitely highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and well-equipped place to stay. The only downside I experienced was with the front desk staff. While they were not unhelpful, they did come across as a bit cold and not very welcoming. A warmer and more friendly attitude at the reception would have made the experience even better and more memorable. That said, the overall experience still remains very positive, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It’s a bit hard to find, but the room is pretty good. Be sure to add the boss on WeChat! Otherwise, you won't be able to get around.

The location is great, and the owner is very welcoming and even came to pick us up. The decor is nice!

Springfield Home has a great location with excellent amenities nearby. The cleanliness is decent, and the service attitude is alright. There are a lot of foreigners, and the smell is a bit strong. There are very few Chinese people.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I feel like I hit the jackpot! 🥹 It's fantastic that the washing area, locker area, and resting area are all separate. I don't have to worry about disturbing my roommates when I come back late after a show and need to get ready; I can just wash up and then head back to my room. Upon check-in, they provided a toiletries kit, which even included a disposable bath towel – super convenient! On the fourth floor, there's a row of hair dryers outside the shower room, so you don't have to worry about making noise while drying your hair late at night. The bed was bigger than I expected, and the mattress was quite soft, easily comparable to hotels costing around 300 RMB.
