"The hostel was clean and all the staff smiled and guided me to stay warm. On Saturday morning, the market is open right in front of you, so you can feel the local French atmosphere. You can have time to walk by the river, and the location is good, close to the city."
JJu MamaWe went to Blois for the Château de Chambord. Compared with other hotels, this youth hostel offer very affordable price. Normally there is a bus stop right next to the hostel to train station of Blois, however, there was road repairing work from late July onwards, so we have to walk 1 station away for the bus to city center.
The hostel is situated in a quiet area and is clean, the room was clean as well but there was smell from the toilet. Toilet and shower is without partition, so once you finished the shower, the whole bathroom floor is wet.
Staff there are helpful and very friendly.
TTraveller DatThe double rooms are very nice. However on my second day I switched rooms to a 4 bed room and the shower was dirty with hair in it. The garden is nice, but the staff didn’t allow us to sit at the jazz show without ordering a drink and the next day at the same garden I was having some fruits and the staff said I cannot eat or drink in the garden???
